Task:
Depending on how you like to learn and what you are ready for, do one or more options from READ or WATCH. MEMORIZE is optional.
READ
1. Choose this option if you have never used a college or university library. This reading with simple vocabulary describes the difference between academic, public and K-12 libraries and what you can expect from an academic library.
2. Choose this option if you are somewhat familiar with academic libraries and you are ready for a more complex reading. (These links will open in a new tab.)

WATCH
1. Choose this option if you have never used Shoreline Community College's library resources and website. The video above highlights how to access the library's catalog and online databases. This video is useful for those unfamiliar with the library's online resources.
2. Choose this option if you are an English language learner. This video is for ELL (English Language Learning) students and shows resources in the library. This video is useful for those interested in ELL/ESL resources, understanding the library space, and other non-book/reading items available for students to check out.
MEMORIZE
Choose this in addition to READ or WATCH if you are unfamiliar with the vocabulary of libraries and research.
