Textbooks

It's important for students to identify whether or not their class has a required textbook so they can be prepared for the first day.

How do I find out which textbooks I need?

It is recommended to have your Class Schedule with you when looking for textbooks.  If you do not have one, please just follow the example below for practice.  Please follow the steps below to find and order your textbooks:

  1. Please visit https://www.shoreline.edu/bookstore Links to an external site. (This will open a new tab).
  2. Under "Textbooks & Course Materials", please click on "Online" under the "Purchase Textbooks" header. You will be taken to the Bookstore website.
  3. At the top right-hand of the page, open the menu and choose "Textbooks" and then choose "Find Your Textbooks".
  4. Choose "Program" and "Term".
  5. Select "Department", "Course Number", and a "Section".

  2. The first 3 digits is the "Course Number" attached to your class.
  3. The last 4 digits is the same as "Item Number" on your class schedule.
  4. Once everything as been selected, the textbook information will appear on the screen.

Save your information!

Please take a few moments to write down the information you gathered about the textbooks you will need for Winter quarter.  If you have any questions, please let us know.

Can't find your textbooks?

Keep checking the bookstore website.  Information about your textbook might not be posted until the first day of class.  Also, if information never appears on the bookstore website, that means your course might not require a textbook.  You can always contact the professor through our employee directory Links to an external site. as well.
